Queer Holiday Banquet Overnight

  • Flagstaff Hut Lexington, ME (map)

Join Queerly ME over for an off-grid Queer Holiday overnight at Flagstaff Hut! Flagstaff Hut is situated on the east shore of Flagstaff Lake. Trails from the hut deliver stunning views of the lake and the Bigelow mountain range.

All participants must be LGBTQIA+, 21+, and Maine Residents. There is a 2.2 mile hike into the hut and we will provide snowshoes (pending snow!). All packed items will be shuttled in before we begin our hike, so you will not need to carry anything but yourself during the hike. We will begin the hike in at 12pm on December 14th.

Pre-registration closes Monday November 11th 5PM EST. Spots are limited.

These cabin trips are carefully curated to match each attendee’s preferences, comfortabilities, and needs in an overnight group. Filling out a pre-registration form does not guarantee a spot on the overnight trip. We will reach out via email directly to confirm you and provide additional details. There will be priority given to folks who have not been on overnight trips with us before as well as rural LGBTQIA+ individuals and Queer BIPOC.

Amenities:

  • Bunk with foam mattress and pillow (please bring your own pillowcase, sheets, and sleeping bag/blankets). Sleeping quarters are shared and heated.
