Queerly ME
fostering strong support networks and strengthening community belonging for LGBTQIA+ adults in Maine.
Our Vision
Queerly ME creates intentional community centered spaces online and offline which facilitate meaningful, long-lasting connections in the LGBTQIA+ community without pressure to conform to the heteronormative or the constraints of binary identity. We organize these spaces in alignment with our foundational values of accessibility, intersectionality, community, representation, and land stewardship.
Queerly ME works to dismantle the marginalization that the LGBTQIA+ community faces in the outdoors by creating spaces where Queer people feel supported and empowered to engage in nature as their authentic selves.
